Jacques Charnaux's grand-mother bought this Karmann-Ghia new in November 1957.

This Karmann-Ghia has been kept in the family, and in 1993, Jacques decided to began the complete and extensive restoration, although the car the car still looks good from the exterior.

The car has been competely dismantled and all the worn parts have been replaced. Rockers and pans have been replaced, as almost all the bottom part of the body and aisle. All the chromes have been redone by a local workshop

The engine that has seen little use, and has been very well maintained has only seen a check-up and tune.

The upholstery has been completely redone by a professional with a material almost identical to the genuine one.

The mains characteristics of this Karmann-Ghia are:
- a fake radiator grill
- a radio
- additionnal Marchal brand headlights
- a cigarette-lighter located under the fuel gauge
- it's very clear and interesting history ...
